@baldur I keep a few notes in Apple Notes and recently could have sworn I wrote something in Notes on my iPad but never saw it anywhere else and now it's not on my iPad either. Wrote it off as failing memory but perhaps it's an iCloud problem, which I seem to have regularly.

@jack Yeah, it's reached a point where trusting iCloud for anything important just sounds risky as hell.

@jack @baldur Started experiencing this a while ago (before 13/10.15, never did the betas). Have observed that Notes sync if I reboot the device. Of course not a tenable solution. Basically back to pre-CloudKit experience.

@baldur What’s inexcusable is that there is no way for me to obtain regular archives of my iCloud data. This could provide a safety net, but even things that should be covered by Time Machine backups as local copies are hard to find or even excluded. Such a mess.
