Last week’s episode of Westworld, The Riddle of the Sphinx, was one of my favorite of the series. Beautifully directed, written, and acted. Last night’s episode, Akane No Mai, on the other hand left me disappointed.

@cleverdevil Yeah, I completely agree. I was definitely disappointed in last night’s episode. I think you nailed it, it just felt like a completely different direction!
@EddieHinkle it felt like a squandered opportunity. Rather than leveraging the new setting to develop and deepen the characters, or to generate new mystery, they spent most of the time marveling at their own world building. Oh, and Dolores is becoming one note, at this point.
@cleverdevil Agreee. I'm a little tired of watching Dolores riding around finding new people to be mean to. Also, when will William learn that if he walks into a town that is suspiciously empty, IT'S A TRAP! :)
