I dislike been torn between two apps, it is not good for productivity, but mostly, for organization. Right now i am between Ulysses and iA Writer 😐

@Gabz That happens to me constantly and drives me nuts. There are just too many great apps.

@Gabz This may not be the thing for you, but for me the deciding factor was the complexity. The intentional simplicity of iA Writer won me over. Ulysses felt like too much and too magical for me.

@bennorris i think what I’m looking for, or the way I want to test them, is which one.... how do I put it? Like which one gives the most distraction free writing environment. Of that makes any sense?

@Gabz I am solving it by using Ulysses for work, and iA Writer for personal. Living the bifurcated life.

@canion guess that’s one way to go about it.

@Gabz Makes total sense. That’s exactly why I love iA Writer. On the iPad, I hide the keyboard bars, activate Focus Mode, and swipe down to hide the navigation bar. It’s just me and my words on a blank screen. ☺️
