When I rule the universe, flat-panel TVs mounted above fireplaces (or really, anywhere high up on a wall) will be banned. Who thinks this is a good idea?
@petebrown I both agree and have one as my tertiary viewing environment. There was no other option in the room, I wanted it for “ambient” viewing, and got a Samsung Frame so it didn’t look horrendous (actually we quite like it as “art”).
But it’s a terrible option for frequent viewing.
@petebrown It's a terrible idea, but often the only real option in the room. My parents did it in their living room and when I suggested it wasn't the best for viewing, they just shrugged. (It's still there).
@petebrown Can we add to that decorative couch pillows that everybody has to move before sitting down?
