@maique I have been wanting to do a black and white challenge for myself for a while now. I do this every once in a while, like “shooting only with the 45mm for a week” or stuff like that

@maique I love black and white but for whatever reason I lean more towards color most of the time.

@maique not wrong. But sometimes, there’s something about a black and white photos that ,, it speaks to me in a different way... like a specific mood or language — gothic. Lol I’m not sure how to explain it.

@jack @maique @Gabz I think this comment alone has inspired me to shoot black and white more often. More focus on the subject of the photo, less on the color theory.

@maique also true! To me, I guess whether I do color or black and white depends of the shot itself and how I feel about it.

@maique @cjkonecnik I'm with you. Especially when it's deliberate. I once spent time shooting nothing but red things. That was fun.

@jack @maique I think I’ll experiment in the months ahead with shooting photos in black and white first (thankfully Fujifilm makes this really easy) and only editing them in color if the full story isn’t being told in grayscale. Should certainly be a fun experiment. Thanks guys!
