@chrisaldrich I have mixed feelings about emojis. What's the end game?
Are we trying to have a pictograph for every word and concept? That seems like a odd and ultimately futile quest.
@ianjs 🤷🏼Because we can? fun 🥳? Do we need a reason, really? How about for communication? There are currently 3,664 emojis and by comparison knowledge of 1,500 Latin words will put one at the 80% level of vocabulary mastery for most classical texts. If not emojis, take another step down the slipper slope: Why bother having new words? Dictionaries?
