Now that event invites for the iPhone announcement have gone out, I updated to the iOS26 public beta. There’s going to be a whole lot of wtf from folks when the update hits their devices this fall.
@combatdavey oh I just think it’s going to shock some people in terms of where things are compared to what they’re used to.
@combatdavey I’m mainly anticipating frustrating from folks who don’t like it when Apple changes UI in a way that forces them to get frustrated doing quick, simple tasks. I’m getting used to it now and am liking it for the most part. But it still feels a little… off?
