I think I‘m about to switch from Spotify to Apple. I got another free month and remember now what I liked about it. The playlists are amazing! It’s much more than just Discover Weekly. Also, Spotify’s CarPlay app is a joke, which becomes more and more of a problem for me 🎶

@hutaffe One of the things I like about Apple Music is the playlists - both the ones “For You” as well as their curated lists. They’re my main method of finding new music.

@hutaffe Interesting to see it from a Spotify user’s perspective. I use Apple Music and always wonder if I'm missing out on something over there.

@ronguest I also find the songs in the playlist more interesting and versatile than on Spotify, where it’s either main stream or completely off. Spotify is really really great, no question. But I think it’s time to try something different.

@hutaffe interesting that you say Apple Music “surprises” you more often. I feel I’m constantly finding new music I love, from artists I’ve never heard of. Which for me, is a big win.

@smith I get a lot of new stuff on Spotify as well, but it’s mostly weird these days. On Apple I got also some songs I never heard of bands I like, which is also great! I guess it’s a matter of preferences. But being able to use Siri in my Car to search and play music is the kicker for me I think 🤔
