@hunterward Loved the Xena TV show when I was a kid. Interesting comparison to RPG.

@hunterward Loved the show. It also marked an important turning point in TV shows. When I first watched episode 1 back in the 90s I was waiting for / expecting a male to turn up to rescue her and take over. I was so relieved that she was a strong and independent woman who didn't need rescuing. The Gabrielle character develops so much over the 6 seasons.

@Miraz I remember catching it here and there back in the 90s too, but it was on really late at night so I didn't see many episodes. The show's a lot of fun so far!

@hunterward There are some darker episodes, more in S4. Wait till you see the wonderful eps where Lucy Lawless plays several different characters. They’re so good.
