I wonder how long before Stelter arrives on a new channel?
@JohnPhilpin wouldn’t be surprised if there is no next channel for him. Could see the newsletter + podcast route, whether independent through something like a Substack deal or a place trying to make a splash like Semafor grabbing him to write a column + podcast. TV people do tend to like TV though so I could be way off.

... see what Olberman is doing after his days in the wilderness ... Stelter might move more rapidly - particularly with the 'new channels' more widely accepted.
And we sure do need to balance the Rogans in that medium.
@JohnPhilpin ahhh very fair. You caught me being too narrow minded and old school to the definition of channel.
I do feel pretty good about my two guesses though unless he’s looking for something more solid and prestigious.
If Substack is still flush enough to make those big dollar offers, I’m sure he’s made his way to the top of their list.
And Semafor is still looking for some big names to launch with after reportedly swinging and missing on most of their targets.
