This past week I put my computer away to live only on the iPad. Managed to do a lot … but not everything. Have to say, if I spent the time, I probably could have done more … but knowing it was an experiment, some tasks I just decided to hold off on. Then I read this. @JohnPhilpin I’m basically iPad only (besides a windows laptop I have to use for work…) I have an old MacBook and maybe take it out once every two months or so for a particular thing.

@humdrum do you do all your kinopio journals on iPad as well?

@humdrum I struggle with ease of use on the iPhone. However huge fan of your daily journals and the other kinopio boards you have created!!

@tuckerk I appreciate that. And yeah it’s tough, but when I know I just want to type through something’s where I don’t have TK navigate too much it’s fine. I also have a Drafts/Shortcut action that sends text to the current days journal, which is a big help.

@humdrum would you be willing to share the drafts action/shortcut?

@tuckerk you can use from share sheet to pass urls or highlighted text, but if the character count is over Kinopio’s card limit it won’t show up. The Draft action is a 1-step action to just Run Shortcut, passing [[draft]] as the input.
