Good to be back at the seaside. Such a lovely air.

@hollyhoneychurch The air is not lovely here (east-central Illinois, where the AQI is presently 165 = unhealthy). BUT! Today I the two air cleaner devices I ordered—one for upstairs and one for downstairs—arrived! So the air is lovely inside, even if it’s not so lovely outside.
@Miraz thanks love. The sun was a perfect temp (ie at midday I could sit out in it and not get burnt) and the cooling breeze complimented it perfectly 😍
@philipbrewer is that because of the wild fires? That’s a terrible thing to deal with. It affects daily health so much. I hope things improve for you (and everyone affected). Not the same thing, but for the last few years, a rubbish tip, close to the river in the town, has been spewing out noxious gas and the whole area has been affected. The kids in the playground breathe it in as they play, people can’t open their windows even in the summer, it has been so frustrating. There have been ongoing protests to close it down (the school children even took a petition to Parliament) and they have all been ignored. It’s been really sad.
Then a few weeks ago, the council said it would change their policy so only building materials would be sent there. No food waste. 😮 After so many years of stench, it has finally dissipated. It’s unreal. Finally someone acted. Alleluia.
Hope your situation improves soon Philip 🙏
@hollyhoneychurch Yep. Wildfire smoke. It’s just annoying here. A few hours north, where I lived as a boy, the AQI is truly terrible.
@Miraz a yummy one
