I had to make a peace offering when locking away my 🐱 darlings for their safety (renovation going on). Unfortunately, one of them can’t have it, since he’s allergic to regular cat food. Luckily, he’s up for cuddling and petting instead.

@hollyhoneychurch Eleven ? 😂 They are only for very experienced cat owners. Any feral behavior is bred out of them, so they’re very sociable. However, they seem to have endless energy, which most cat owners don’t appreciate.
@renevanbelzen ha. I've heard this. I've done a lot of cat sitting but never managed to look after a bengal. I'm obsessed with cats! I see you are too : )
@hollyhoneychurch Well, I used to breed abyssinians, but even so, I had to adjust a lot when I got stewardship over a bengal, so energetic and shrewd. I had to train him (and myself), to get his mind off his mischief and follow my instructions instead. He was destroying my stuff out of boredom. Luckily, my current bengal buddies are more laidback.
@renevanbelzen Gosh, I love abyssinians too. We've got a couple of crosses round the corner who I love to visit and stroke. That must have been quite a time in your life, breeding them. My parents bred siamese when I was younger. I loved the kittens so much. Glad I had that experience. Your guy sounded like a crazy handful. I would have loved him. I love the naughty ones (not the destroying bit though). Training is such a great tool. It something people don't think to do with cats. Next cat I get I'm going to train them and take them on adventures : )
