Requested too many books from the library again ๐Ÿ“š๐Ÿ˜…

I was telling my buddy he needs to read Maus but commented I read it too young and would understand it better now, and he suggested I reread it. I read it in 1994, so a 30 year revisit ๐Ÿ˜„ Wish it werenโ€™t on my mind though.

tall stack of books with mostly comics plus a couple novels and photo books

@tracy Itโ€™s the niche indie comic that became an essential classic. Itโ€™s so improbable that that happened! I think it paved the way for Persepolis.

@tracydurnell I read Maus about 20 years ago, and yeah, have been thinking about it again. It was so good. I've seen a few folks on Mastodon talking about rereading it. Safe and Sound is so good! We got a copy of that and now we want to get copies for the kids and all their friends. :)

@hollie I've reread the first volume of Maus now and really liked it, taking a little breather before the second ๐Ÿ˜„
