It’s been a real international postcard night! Besides the voter cards for our US election, I just finished writing out Postcrossing postcards to:

Penang, Malaysia Stráž, Slovakia Kuanas, Lithuania Leipzig, Germany Heredia, Costa Rica Hoffen, France

@hollie you were industrious OO, I should write some Postcrossing cards as well again. Have not done any this month so far.

Are the voter cards for the election a big thing? It is only the second time I've stumbled about this concept so far. What are you writing into them?

@V_ There were three scripts and I chose the nice one that asks people to please remind their friends and family to vote. Way less stalkerish! :)

@V_ I don't know if they're big? I had a friend who did them years ago and that's how I knew about them. You just write a short message that says thanks for being a voter and please don't forget to vote in the November 5th election. It's really simple but apparently it really works to increase voter turnout!

@hollie thank you for the insight. This is such a different system compared to my country. But I suspect our elections are also smaller and there is less to screw up (at least it feels this way from).
