One of the first interesting developments since Microsoft acquired GitHub a while back. It makes me wonder what sort of value they get from free users?

@eli Huh. I will have to check if I actually need to be paying for GitHub in this case.

@eli I suspect it's a combination of goodwill and a willingness to match competitors--both Bitbucket and GitLab already offer that on their free plans.
