@colinwalker what service do you use to send it?

@colinwalker I’m afraid it hasn’t shown up in my inbox either.

@hjertnes My own domain, it's sent from my .blog address and I've not previously had an issue but my host may have started blocking programmatically generated mails.

@strandlines Thanks. Hmm 🤔 that's what I was worried about. I'll try resending and if it doesn't work may have to use a mailing list but that removes the automation aspect.

@colinwalker do you run your own smtp server?

@hjertnes No, it's supplied by the web host on shared hosting.

@colinwalker that might work for low volumes, but my experience is that when you send out emails to lists and similar the only reliable solution is to use services like mailchimp or mailgun

They do a lot of voodoo to send things out in a way where you don’t get trip spam filters

@strandlines I've just tried again but not received it to Gmail so it looks like I may need to switch to an alternative plan.

@hjertnes It's not a large volume and that hasn't increased since the last successful send. I have a mailing list feature I can use but it annoyingly adds a manual step to configure.
