A cup of strong coffee and a breakfast sandwich are consistently a source of joy for me.

@hjalm I need more breakfast sandwiches in my life. We used to get them as a Friday treat at an agency I worked for a while back 😋

@ekcragg My favorite fast food breakfast (I love traditional sit-downs, too) is a sausage egg and cheese biscuit, followed by a sausage egg and cheese McGriddle for dessert.

@hjalm a dessert course for breakfast is a stroke of genius. I’m wondering why cheese in breakfast sandwiches doesn’t seem to be a thing here in the UK (outside the Golden Arches that is) 🤔

@ekcragg Might just be America. I’ve had visiting Swedish relatives mock American restaurants because of all of the offers for additional cheese.

@hjalm I couldn’t agree more with this. Breakfast has always been my favourite meal of the day, in no small part thanks to the typical food selection. It’s important enough for me that my intermittent fasting routine will include breakfast, and likely downgrade/skip lunch or dinner.

@hjalm So far I’ve only shrunk my eating window as much as I can, and I no longer snack outside of three squares. At one point I was 278lbs and I’m down to 266, so definitely made progress. My next plan is to either downgrade a meal (or drop one, though I’m hesitant), or switch to the 5/2 method. This involves five days eating normally with reduced window, and then on two spaced out days drop your calorie intake to around 40-50 percent of normal.
