@hiro I’m using Heartwatch in addition to Health for monitoring my watch data. Can definitely recommend it, alongside its sibling app Autosleep.

Recently I suddenly felt under the weather one morning and I dug into the data. Indeed the only thing that stood out to the naked eye was that my waking HRV had been clearly on a downward trend the week prior. This is anecdotal evidence, I’m curious if I’ll find some leading indicators like that in the future.

@todor Oh man, sorry you weren’t feeling well— hopefully you’re on the mend! Great call on Heart Watch and AutoSleep, I really dig both those apps as well. In the last week since posting this, I’ve also bought an Oura ring to experiment with using that for days where I want to wear a mechanical watch rather than my Apple Watch. Curious to see how its recovery tracking compares.
