Given that I’ve decided to abandon Instagram in favour of Flickr (Given its new management), anyone here got an account I can follow?
@JacksonOfTrades @jack I’ve been considering it, but I think for now I’ll stick to my site only. I usually posted photos elsewhere first, and my own site later. I think for now, I’ll give my site the first class treatment and see if I feel like pushing things out to a sharing service later. If I do, it would most likely be Flickr though.
@oyam Flickr is the only place I feel like I can just share a photo. Or multiple photos. My blog and micro.blog make me feel like I need a reason for posting, and I don't always have one. Plus I've always loved Flickr and I'd love to see a resurgence of any kind. Just doing my part :).
@jack For me, a photo I'm happy with is the reason to post. I really hope Flickr will have some resurgence given the ownership changes. I'm at www.flickr.com/photos/oy... but it has not been updated in a while.
@oyam Well I followed you anyway :). I have lamented the fact that Instagram stole Flickr from me and I'd like to bring as many people back into the fold as I can.
@retrophisch I've had it for... three-ish years now? But now I want to start using it as my main photog service instead of just crossposting.
