I’m not very up-to-date with this collection of Blot links but I did update it with info on Webmentions… if anyone would like me to add a link or post please just let me know!

@cm Funny you mention that! I was just looking for those useful posts of yours on blot and micro.blog and I think there were some webmention mentions in there as well :)
Thanks for the updated links! I haven't had the chance to have a proper read, but what prompted the move?
@herself hi! the John Philpin’s list of Microbloggers who use Blot link on this page gets an error! pity because i too am a blot user just dipping their toe in micro.blog...
@johannesk me again! Link found, and updated!
@herself awesome! and thanks :) btw your blot is the only one i have seen using the console template and managing to look kinda cute! 😎
@cm Aargh, I know the feeling. Everyone bangs on about how a blog should be about one specific thing, but who has the time to keep up with multiple blogs? And what do you do when you have cross-over? I feel like I'd be constantly cross-referencing between blogs... and yet, by staying so general, I also wonder if I never really get the chance to let these areas of interest properly develop. Part of me is fundamentally against treating a blog like a business, but then the other (poor) part wonders if I haven't missed the boat...
@herself I feel that a blog should be about everything under the Sun. After all, it's your online persona. Why would it not be about everything?
I like taking a page from YouTubers in this - they start off with one topic or type of content (specially the fashion bloggers I've seen) and then their personality and life seeps in and adds color to their videos.
It's great that as text bloggers, we can learn so much from these photo and video bloggers.

@nitinkhanna @cm thats so true - I love this take on it. I guess I wonder if my blog would be less meandering and scattered if I tried to focus on something specific. I guess anyone who reads it would quickly figure out that topics veer wildly and either move on or hang on for the (probably-not-so) wild ride ;)
@rnv glad it’s of use! Omg, I forgot David asked if he could link to my blog—that was a surprise, hehe!
@cm I say go for it. Private paid posts and a private newsletter are both great ideas! Just make sure that you keep the same newsletter going instead of starting and stopping. People like continuity, even if you post to it months apart. Sorta like how you’re thinking of keeping one blog.
There’s a beautiful WordPress plugin which I’ve stared at for way too long called Series which I’ve found particularly interesting and I want to play with it someday.
