Took my toy camera to school today and the kids took some pictures. Quite a lot of confusion. Hopefully somewhat dispersed.

@bradenslen I got a Diana toy camera as a present a few years ago. Only took one roll. At school ( I teach 8-11 years) I was trying to explain how a film camera worked so took it in and the class shot some pics. Incredulous that there was no screen on the back and you could not choose what to print.
@johnjohnston That is a great learning experience. I'd love to see their faces when they see the prints.
@johnjohnston awesome!! I love my toy cameras. Why are they so fun??
@johnjohnston I love this. Have you ever seen Kids React? My own kids introduced me to this YouTube series, and of course there’s one for film cameras: youtu.be/DDtWxURLl... 🎞
@herself mine got dusty. I love the idea and have seen some great pictures. I met a complete enthusiast and bought a cheepy. My first efforts were meh. Hoping kids in my class will get me back into it. Have you posted results anywhere? Or maybe they should go on the wall.
@johnjohnston I revised my approach to Flickr and removed all of my digital photos, and replaced them with my film stuff. These aren’t all 120 film but I did develop them all myself (which explains the varying quality)... Here
@herself very cool indeed I love the varying quality perhaps revealing other qualities?
@twelvety thanks! And thanks for friending me on Flickr too. I really like your photos as well :)
