@help is there a way to make a post here in the feed without posting it on the blog? Sometimes I would like posts only to be read by people on MB (because they’re quite hard to understand for a bigger audience).
@ajennische Sometimes I start a post with an @-mention of myself, which forces it to be treated as a reply. Ugly, but it works. I've also sometimes wanted to post to my micro.blog without it appearing on the social timeline, but I've never figured out how to do it.
@JMaxB thanks! I got the same tip from @gabz and it works fine. I agree it’s not good looking but I’ll live with it. I would also like to know how to do it the other way around: make a post in the blog but not in the feed.
@ajennische Posts here always come from a feed on your blog. You could have a blog category for Micro.blog timeline posts, and then hide that category with a custom theme for your home page. Would take a little tinkering to get right.
