Just ordered my first G-Shock watch.
@odd Actually not (I wish it was solar powered). It is a Gravitymaster (model number GR-B200-1BER)
@helgeg That is one serious G-Shock! Hope you enjoy it 🙂
(Also waiting for one, but a smaller model…)
@helgeg That is one of the more fancy G-Shocks. Looks like it’s handy for mountaineering! I have an entry model G-Shock, but it’s in a drawer now. Went semi-analogue for a while, but got a second hand Apple Watch now.⌚️
@helgeg Funny enough, I’m getting one just like a model I already have, just because it’s solar powered. The new GA-B2100, all black.
Somehow I’m back into smaller watches, and this one feels great on the wrist. The one thing missing was solar, and they launched it a couple of weeks back or so.
@maique Not the yellow one??? I think that was the best looking one, especially if one is tanned. But maybe not so formal.
@odd 😀 I thought about it, but already have a yellow backpack, and though it might be too much. If it was pink, it would have been an instant buy!
@helgeg A couple more days and should be here. How long is yours taking? Can’t wait for your thoughts on your first one 🙂
@hjertnes I LOVE my G-Shocks! I believe a collection should have at least one of them to be complete, and that’s how a lot of people get into watches as well. They definitely are cool in my book, and probably the first I think about when going on a trip. Also, they are perfect for parenting duty: indestructible, easy to clean, never have to worry about them.
I enjoy my mechanicals and automatics, but G-Shocks are, as someone says, God Tier!
@Mandalorian That is a beautiful looking watch indeed. I oscillate between minimalism and "maximalism" dpending on my mood.
@helgeg So happy, and you won’t believe it, but I just posted a photo of mine, and asked about yours! Your notification came in as I was pressing the publish button on Ulysses 🤣🤣🤣
