@hawaiiboy 1904!! My teacher showed me a recording of Hilo March from 1915 and I was saying it must be some of the first recorded music period, but this!!

@threeninjas.bsky.social Here’s a[ youtube link.](Aole Wau E Poina Iaoe) I initially found it after digging deep on an archive. The song “Aole Wau E Poina Ia oe” is not a well known song, though we could know it by a different name in modern days. Still researchin that.
