@JohnBrady He became a good friend of Gabby Pahinui and played on one of his hallmark albums, Gabby Pahinui Hawaiian Band. He played mandolin on he album He loved slack key guitar and sat in on a number of other artists too. I've seen his name pop up on credits all over island music of the 80s
