I need to fire up an email sending service for an app Iā€™m building. Mailgun is probably more dev friendly. SendGrid has email marketing if I need it down the road. They both track the heck out of you.

Is there a reliable option out there with no tracking?

@bjhess I use MailPace for all of my stuff. Plus it's all hosted in the EU and is a UK company šŸ˜‹ Fair pricing too.

@vincent I love a lot about what they are saying. Thanks! (I'm wondering if I'd have some latency issues since I haven't yet set up any background job infrastrcture.)

@hawaiiboy Thanks! That doesn't look like a SaaS transactional email sending service to me, unless I'm confused? mailbox.org/en/

@bjhess I'd say give it a try. I've got it running via a background job (Sidekiq - Rails), plus my personal stuff is hosted in the EU too, so it's pretty fast as is.

@warner Oh, thanks. I use that for my newsletter. This is more for sending transaction (RE: not marketing) emails from a web service I'm building.
