I keep waiting for a review of the new iPad magic keyboard that covers real life usage. Normally I’d go to a store and check it out myself but that’s not an option and the usual cursory reviews just don’t answer the question of how well it works in a whole range of situations.

@ronguest I have the 11 inch. I like it quite a bit. Being used to the Brydge keyboard, I do miss the function keys for playback and volume.

I work in B2B marketing and do email, work in SAAS apps/web clients.

I work in google sheets a lot. Copying rows and columns from Numbers to sheets on both app and web version doesnt work well.

Some of the B2B saas apps I use just dont work that well.

That's more to do with safari and ios.

I LOVE the three finger swipe between apps. very natural.

I use it at a desk, in kitchen, on couch.

When on couch, I usually have it resting on a pillow in my lap. Because it's top-heavy, it has fallen forward a couple times when i lean too far forward. I think this is because I'm used to the Brydge being more weighted in that situation.

its easy to open, close, and grab and go both the entire case or snip the ipad off quickly.

The apple pencil seems to fall off more in this vs. the brydge.

good keyboard, good trackpad.

@handy Thanks for the info! Did you use the previous generation Pro keyboard at all? Wondered if you had a comparison view with that.
