BRAVO to Chris Quinn, editor of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, for calling Trump what he is: the most dangerous, un-American president in history.

"All those soldiers who died in World War II were fighting against the kind of regime Trump wants to create on our soil."

@stevesilberman I liked the article.

I don’t agree he needed to be deferential to anyone supporting tRump. They need a kick to the seat if the pants and a good punch in the nose. They deserve a prison cell right next to their fearless leader.

Astounding that any American would support that monster. It demonstrates a deep failure to understand stand their own history. They are an embarrassment to the country.

@stevesilberman I find it amazing how an article of simple truth and common sense can move me to tears today. Sadly, this is where we are. Nonetheless, I loved this and it filled me with hope for the day. Thank you for sharing this!

@stevesilberman The zinger:

"The truth is that Donald Trump undermined faith in our elections in his false bid to retain the presidency. He sparked an insurrection intended to overthrow our government and keep himself in power. No president in our history has done worse."

@stevesilberman How about all the other newspapers? Would that they showed the same integrity.

@stevesilberman In 2017 (from this side of the pond) I thought - there's a dangerous buffoon - opinion was divided. I still think the same, but opinion here is no longer so divided.
