Affinity V2 universal license (no subscription) for $99 is looking pretty good to me, especially considering I bought V1 Affinity Photo in 2016 and Designer in 2015.

@troykitch Woah. Maybe I've been in the Adobe bubble for too many years, but hadn't heard of Affinity. Their site sure does make their suite look great and that price even more so. I think I'm going to give them a go with V2. Thanks for the pointer!

@gusper hope you like them! It’s a bit of an adjustment coming from the Adobe suite but they’re solid replacements. They have good tutorial videos to help with the transition, too.

@troykitch Thanks. I got the suite, but most looking to use the Designer application as Illustrator isn't something I use enough to justify paying for it. Photoshop and Lightroom, however, I'm likely to stick with unless it just blows me away. Having something for vector graphics though is a very welcome addition though.

@gusper yeah, I have to use the adobe suite at work and I’ve been with photoshop since 1993 …so I have some muscle memory with that app. But I’m just ok with illustrator, so it was easy for me to jump to designer. I’ve found it way more intuitive/easy to use.
