@grubz I've grown to appreciate the lack of traditional social media things such as likes and follower lists on Micro.blog as well. I thought it would bother me, but it's not a bug, it's a feature. Anyway, I'll keep seeing you around here. :-)
@larand I hear ya! Feels less... busy over here than traditional social media a lot of the time, but maybe that's a good thing too. And same to you! I'm not going anywhere š
Like maybe Iām just such a hipster I only use small batch, micro-brewed social media.
Oh my god, This is precisely how I feel about Micro.Blog sometimes! š¤£
I was never good at clout chasing on Twitter anyway so I don't mind the slower pace of M.B. I write my stuff and if it takes someone's fancy thats' great. If not, ah well.
@DaveyCraney when it catches on we can say we were doing it before it was cool š
@grubz We'll have moved onto something even more hipster by then š¤
"Oh you're still on Micro.Blog on the internet are you? I just carve my posts into a tree 10 miles deep in the forest now š¤"
@grubz i'm glad you're still around on here. My Bsky might as well be deactivated with the amount of times I actually am on there. I also can relate to a lot of the things on here. Instant gratification is my downfall.
Please post funny and interesting pictures. I love seeing those.
