Come on, U.K., not you too. 👎 People can be whoever they want to be, and it’s not up to anyone else to tell them otherwise. The world seems to have forgotten the golden rule, and — to vastly understate it — that’s a huge bummer. 🏳️⚧️
@jarrod the ruling doesn’t stop that. You need to read the actual ruling and the context of why it was brought to the supreme court
@gregmorris @daryl That’s great to hear, but from what I’ve read it still sounds like a step back and not a step forward for trans rights. Have I misinterpreted? I feel like my statement stands.
@jarrod not really backwards, nor forwards. There’s a lot too do here — but it goes much deeper than the snap headlines would have you believe. Although I am by no means an expert, I’d love to hear from those with with lived experience.
