@t3mujin Foto’s utter lack of a publicly accessible website to view and share their users photos told me everything I needed to know about the company.
@gregmoore that actually was one of the reasons I never got into Vero in the first place. Nowadays the portability and openness of my data concerns me a lot (hence ending up here 😉), and any network that feels like a walled garden is a red flag for me.
@t3mujin Yeah, I came to Micro.blog for very similar reasons. It also helps that I have zero desire to go viral but maybe reach other humans.
