@darrenhester that's interesting... I have a Soundcloud account where I posted my DJ set mix yesterday... but what are their business model? It's free?

@darrenhester I like the idea of a Music page. 🙂 I’ve been using song.link and album.link for years and, yeah, they’re great!

@darrenhester @numericcitizen It’s the same idea—albeit nicer looking—as Songlink/Odesli. I think the business model for both is that paid/pro accounts allow musicians can create landing custom pages that link out to all of their stuff. The free service is for randos like us who just want a service-agnostic link to a single song or album.

@jarrod @darrenhester I use a shortcut with song.link, which could probably be adapted for other services too.

@darrenhester Looking good!👍🏻
@numericcitizen @jarrod I'd love to start a Music page trend on Micro.blog like people do with their reading lists. I like using Album Whale for their playlists and Songwhip integration.

@darrenhester Yeah, my Album Whale lists have become as important to me as my blog. (I'm not really a text-focused person.) If you look at the bottom of this page, I tried to document how I set my Music page up.
