Just watched The Mandalorian S3E6.

For a show that’s about “The” Mandalorian it’s spending a lot of time on Bo-Katan. Is she now “The” Mandalorian?

Not even sure why they bother showing Grogu apart from merchandising tie-in.

I’d like more Andor instead of this. 📺

@meandering I’m sure there are a lot of people who agree with you. On the other hand, I also feel that part of what makes Star Wars so special is that it’s literally a galaxy of different characters, species, planets, biomes, etc. It’s a galaxy who’s stories shouldn’t all fit into one tone of story. Personally, I’ve been enjoying following along with Mando as he opens up more of that galaxy to us and makes room for even more writers to flex their imaginations.
There’s definitely room for focused, dark and brooding Star Wars series (Obi-Wan and Andor were amazing and I’m looking forward to more.) but gunslinger’s and wandering ronin are only as interesting as the people they’re fighting for.

@gregmoore Oh, I 100% agree with you. I think the gross part is the fans who insist that “their” Star Wars is the right one and then act like jerks about it.

@petebrown That kind of fan will always be around. (It’s why I do my best to avoid Reddit, fan sites, and reviews.) I do respect what @meandering is saying though as Mando’s tone has been moving wildly and that’s not everyone’s jam.

@gregmoore I think part of the problem for me is that apart from the movies I’m not well versed in the Star Wars universe and back stories. I came to The Mandalorian as a stand alone show that was about Din Djarin and Grogu and this season has seen a move away from that. I’m enjoying the show overall and I’ve been a fan of Katee Sackhoff since Battlestar Galactica but the apparent pivot to her doesn’t seem to be well explained, at least not yet.
