Owl weekend. Something diverted the attention of this juvenile Great Horned Owl. I wonder if owls with ADHD don’t survive? I feel for what he was looking at.
@cliffordbeshers Owls really give one of the most intimidating looks. I had some owl parents watching me take photos of their owlet once and I was very aware of how easily they could come ruin my day.
@gregmoore yup. I had a similar feeling in Florida once, coming up in blue water froma deep scuba dive. We spent fifteen minutes at 20’ decompressing, surrounded by a school of sennet, all of them looking radially inward at us. One had a silver jig caught in its mouth, just like a giant pierci g, and boy did he look mean. We got on the boat and my buddy said,” You ever been scared in the ocean before…?”
@cliffordbeshers Any fish related to barracuda are scary! I once had a similar experience snorkeling off of Key West long ago and went straight back to the boat.
