@Gabz I took a period of time and went through and changed all my passwords. I used to use 1Password. Now I use iCloud.
@greghiggins I rarely use 1Password anymore but it’s there in case iCloud doesn’t get it right or whatever. But I need to change passwords around for sure
@Gabz For years I've been using the app / service 1Password. I only have to remember one password (for the app) and then it remembers all the myriad passwords for every other service. My fingerprint / face rec unlocks it for use and a keystroke enters the password itself. Cannot stress enough how wonderful this app is!
@Gabz I still have 1Password as a backup. I like the convenience of iCloud. Especially when I'm logging in from my iPhone or iPad
@Miraz I have 1Password , had it for years but I don’t give it too much attention as of late. Most of the Passwords in there are basically the same over an over, which is why I need to get in there a change things and do some weeding but just the thought of it 😩😩. I’m lazy I guess 😅
@Gabz 1P itself can help with that, warning of reused passwords, a smart group for older passwords etc.
@Gabz I've been meaning to pester Rene Richie about what his security audits entail. I know he uses 1Password as well and it's part of his process. I have some cleaning up to do on my end.
@Gabz it appears that DropBox have just released a password manager as well as a few other new features. I dropped DropBox a number of months ago now as their pricing structure is all wrong for me. www.theverge.com/2020/6/16...
@mangochutney Thank you!! I have been using 1Password for years, I just need to take time and clean up old stuff and change some passwords around :D
