Interesting blog post over at This Days Portion: You do not need “analytics” for your blog because you are neither a military surveillance unit nor a commodity trading company. My thoughts weren’t that articulate, but I removed analytics from my blog years ago for similar reasons. 💽
@chrisd I saw this post the other day and decided to remove analytics from my blog for the same reason. I moved to Micro.blog to get away from all the tracking and arbitrary post metrics, I don’t know why I thought I needed analytics 😅
