My reaction to the news that Jon Lester is retiring is that I wish he could have done so as a Cub. Seeing him in a Cardinal uniform last year was just wrong.
@stevebrady Their loss, our gain. :) I don't think the Cubs get in the World Series without him. His signing on with the Cubs is on par with the Packers signing Reggie White, in terms of impact of turning around a franchise.
@frankm What a career though. To be instramental in two different World Series caliber teams. (Oh, and beat cancer!)
