@baldur I decided I didn’t need to know any more after reading this:

With its parent company General Motors, which purchased Cruise in 2016 for $1.1 billion, hemorrhaging money on the venture, any setback for the company’s robo-safety regimen could threaten its business.

Instead of seeing public accidents and internal concerns as yellow flags, Cruise sped ahead with its business plan.

@maique @baldur You would think that someone would have worked a bit harder to understand what they were actually buying before spending over a billion dollars on unproven technology.
