@fernando and really ... It's a small phone that doesn't make phone calls .. much like my own phone

@fernando definitively. And very thin. I still own one and I am planning on testing it with the iOS 12 release Monday.

@manton Hey Manton, what Micro.blog apps would work on one of these $200 iPod touch devices, with me still having my hosted website, of course?

@Ron Oh, that's a great question! // @manton

@Ron All of them should run! The official Micro.blog app, Sunlit, Wavelength, and Icro.

@simonwoods Haha, you caught my drift there, didn't you! Maybe we can finally retire as second class citizens around here.

@Ron Also the blue iPod is pretty. 😍

@manton Aha, that's what I was thinking. Thanks to @fernando I think we've discovered the entry level device for taking full advantage of all the features available on Micro.blog. I'm certainly willing to pay $200 to end my residency as a second class citizen around here!

@JohnPhilpin And, of course, while you’re on a network you can even use a VOIP service such as Skype (with the relatively inexpensive dial-out option) to make phone calls.

@manton Okay two more Q's. I would still be able to read & post using Chrome on my Chromebook, as well as on Android with Dialog, right? And the iPod Touch comes with 32 or 128 GB. Any reason I would need the larger memory?

@Ron Yes, you can switch between any of the apps or platforms as-needed. If it was me, I'd go with just 32 GB since it's such a nice value at $199. If it's not your primary device, seems less likely that you'll need the extra space unless you plan to start taking photos with it. (You could also use Google Photos to make it easier to sync photos between platforms.)

@manton Would I be able to get a pic taken with my Android over to a Micro.blog app to be able to post it on my hosted site?

@Ron Yes. I’d probably start by installing the Google Photos app on iOS because it plays nicely with the Android ecosystem, but should be a few options.
