@jayeless I ran into something like this when I first started using obsidian but more that I think the sync to my iPhone wasn’t always as quick as I would like it. I decided to use Obsidian Sync and I have not looked back since as it is quick and typically I never see a lag between any devices.
@aeryn Once I lost 3,000 words of my honours thesis because Microsoft OneDrive decided to overwrite the up-to-date version on my laptop with the outdated version on its server 🙁 Since then I’ve tried to be cautious, but Obsidian is so like “don’t even worry about it, we handle that in the background” that my caution isn’t very effective. Except for installing the file recovery plugin, I guess, for which I thank Past Me!
@ericmwalk If only Obsidian Sync weren’t so expensive! Also, funnily enough, I feel like my sync issues go the opposite way – sync from my computer to my phone is fast (maybe too fast 😒), while sync from the phone to the computer seems very slow and unreliable.
