After 2.5 years of faithful service (which, honestly, is far too long), I’ve updated my trusty Sauconys with a new pair. The red is a bit flashier than my usual style, but they’re comfortable 🏃♂️
@mroutley wow I am impressed. As I think I went through 4 or more pairs of shoes this year 😱. I think in the past I had kept them for a little longer than I but I tried a couple differnt ones and if they didn't feel right I moved on. Not to mention I don't think I buy the top of the line so they are not overly expensive but they are comfortable and work for me.
@ericmwalk certainly wasn’t intentional! I got distracted by COVID (didn’t we all?) and only just realized a couple of days ago that I’d bought the shoes back in July of 2019. Given I’m planning to be running a lot more for the next year, I’ll be adding in a few different pairs of shoes and rotating among them. Likely much better for avoiding injuries.
