@AlanRalph Yep! I'm going through the settings in Firefox for this and they're pretty damned good. It's all just in there, built right in.
@simonwoods Yep. Firefox’s privacy options are why I switched (on the desktop. I use 1Blocker with Safari on iOS).
@Bruce @AlanRalph Come to think of it, my gradual switch to Apple-only tech has probably also influenced my thinking on this. Speaking of which, what was going to be a reply-to-myself turned into a longer post. Lots of rambling in there but I think it's relevant within the context of the state of the modern web.
