@colinwalker here is an AppleScript I use to post any selected text to micro.blog gist.github.com/troutcolo... not complex but I am not a Dev. AppleScript secret is the ability to post to WordPress.

@colinwalker I think it does. But I’ve used the same to post from script editor to make posts from a pile of data. I think developers dislike AppleScript quirks more than I do. my best makes gifs: johnjohnston.info/oddsanden...
@colinwalker @johnjohnston I use a similar AppleScript to John, but I run mine inside a Service that I made using Automator. It lets me select any text, right click and choose “Microblog” from the Service menu. I can send it to you if you’d like it.
