@eay I read about this earlier today and by the look of the screenshots, I can tell already that this can help my mom (+ maybe my dad) a lot.
@odd Yes, I think that’s great. My mother was diagnosed with a brain tumor last year and this would have helped her a lot. I then equipped her iPhone with large contact widgets and the like for the time being. If this can now be done directly in iOS, all the better.
@eay Yes, my mother has early stage dementia, and I actually wrote to Apple about her, and the challenges of those who have cognitive disabilities, (in Apple Feedback), some months ago, so very appreciative of this.
@odd Oh, I’m sorry, all the best for your mother. It’s good that you took the initiative and wrote to Apple, so that such important topics appear more often with them.
@eay Thank you. She’s in a good mood still, although she has problems remembering things that happened the last decades. I’ve often sent Apple feedback and suggested changes and improvements. I figure that I can get lucky and have them do it. It’s happened several times, although I don’t believe it’s only my feedback that’s been considered.
