@dwalbert Yeah, I read the FPR piece and found it intensely annoying. Is there a word for anti-snob snobbery? I use chopsticks at home all the time. I'm actually less likely to use them in public because I'd feel self-conscious.
@JMaxB I actually have a breakdown metal and bamboo pair of chopsticks that I carry with me, that screw together so I’m like the guy who brings his own pool cue. I like to think this makes me eccentric rather than pretentious. But I also know how to use a lug wrench.
