Diamine Inkvent, Day 9: Storm. 🖋 Dark blue with gold and silver shimmer? This is my jam.

@cygnoir Nice! I find it fascinating how every stroke of alphabets is consistent throughtout these last few days. And wonderulful handwriting! 👍🏽👌🏽
@cygnoir It’s a beautiful ink! What pen and nib size? The nib looks like a stub and it looks like you’re writing on Tomoe River paper. It must take forever to dry. I’ve not had much luck with shimmering inks, but I prefer finer nibs and maybe that’s the issue.
@cygnoir Not gonna lie, I’m experiencing FOMO for the first time with all the Inkvent content online. These inks look great!
@alans It reminds me of J. Herbin 1670 Anniversary Gris Orage, although that one only has gold sparkles not silver and gold. So pretty!
@amit Thank you for the compliment! I spend much of my day with a pen in my hand, so I get a lot of handwriting practice.
@ddykstal I’m using a very plain steel dip pen, which I’ve found is the wrong tool for this job (brief writing tests of small samples of ink). I should be using a glass dip pen. And the ink does take ages to dry because it’s going on very wet on the Tomoe River paper of a Hobonichi Techo.
@dustdaughter I have an idea! Once I get all of my inks logged on the Fountain Pen Companion site, I’ll send you a FOMO-busting ink sample care package. 😊
@cygnoir I have a J. Herbin glass pen I use for samples. I almost ruined it by trying to get it to work better. They can be a bit tricky. I’m going to pick up one more from Rohrer & Klingner to compare.
@cygnoir Dang it. Now you have me buying more ink. 😎 Diamine Dragon Blood Shimmering. I’m going to have to start writing more.
@cygnoir That would be fantastic! Thank you! Please let me know the best way to send you my mailing address. I have a spreadsheet of inks in my collection I can share if you would like a sample of something I have in exchange.
@ddykstal Wow, what a beautiful ink! 😍 Don’t forget to share an ink test with us when you get it.
@dustdaughter What’s your preferred way of sending info like that? I am open. Email, Signal, ProtonMail, etc. Whichever method you are most comfortable with.
@cygnoir Email or Signal. Both work for me.
