Tomorrow Inshallah, I am looking forward to the start of LetterMo! I am hoping to post a card, postcard or letter to family and friends every day in February.

@dustdaughter Full disclosure - I am not signed up to the official site! Do they match people with random strangers? I am sticking to people I know - LOL! I like receiving snail mail from friends. I guess you do as well?
@DiplomaticDiva Ha! I didn’t sign up officially either. I just collected address from friends. I’ve seen people leave their addresses in a comment to a blog post. Didn’t feel secure to me, even though I have a small PO Box for snail mail.
And I love writing and reading letters from friends and making pen pals. That’s what makes LetterMo fun for me!
@dustdaughter YAY!
I am so glad that I got some decent stationery and cards before Lockdown 3.0 started… But WOAH! Stamps are hella expensive..?!
@DiplomaticDiva Really? How much are stamps in the UK? In the US, stamps seem to be the only thing that hasn’t gone up during the pandemic. Still at $0.55 per stamp like last year.
Also, Lockdown 3.0… wow. We probably could have used a few lockdowns here but… America. :(
@DiplomaticDiva They really are! Checking in on the price of stamps has a terrible way of making you feel old.
@dustdaughter Sorry for the delay in responding! A first class stamp costs 85 pence - and it doesn’t even guarantee next day delivery. GRRR! A second class stamp costs 66p.
There was a price increase earlier this year (from 76p to 85p; from 65p to 66p).
