What are some questions that you’re wrestling with in regards to faith or religion or spirituality or Christianity? I need some writing inspiration for some longer posts.
@drose i have never been able to commit to one particular religeous belief or community. i identify as an animist, but i embrace various aspects of different religions. sometimes i think i should just commit to something specific, but i can't.
@drose you already know more than I shall say publically, but for me it is choice of church home for my wife and I.

@drose from past experience: when church (or some of its members rather) reject me or make me feel disconnected and unwelcome, how can i still feel theres a place for me there

@bearofroses totally get that! I wonder if, in light of this, I were to write about what attracts me to my faith would be of some benefit. Not as a “believe what I believe” but more as a “this what I find beautiful about what o believe”.
@drose I am finding these days that I am more seeking out a local church that disciples me and gives me an opportunity to disciple others.
It's not so much about the doctrine these days, although the church still must be sound to the word.
@SolusSpider @drose It can be a series. Also write about how to avoid choosing a bad church, which is a very different question than choosing a good one.
@drose @SolusSpider How does church relate to things that seem on some level substitutes for church? Service organizations. Twelve-step programs. Veterans' groups. What's the legitimate overlap? Where do they diverge?
